What is a discovery flight?
A short introductory lesson where you sit up front and fly the airplane alongside a certified instructor. It's the best first step if you're considering flight training.
How much is a discovery flight and what are the options?
Discovery flights start at $99. Options: Light (30 min) $99, Plus (30 min) $129, Light (45 min) $149, Plus (45 min) $179.
Do I actually get to fly the plane?
Yes. With an instructor beside you, you'll handle the controls for most of the flight.
Can my discovery flight count toward pilot training?
Yes. If you continue, the flight time is logged toward your Private Pilot certificate.
Can I gift a discovery flight?
Yes, discovery flights can be purchased as a gift.

Do you offer single-engine and multi-engine training?
Yes. We train Private, Instrument, Commercial Single-Engine, CFI, and CFII in Piper aircraft, and Multi-Engine in the Tecnam P2006T. FAA Part 61 and Part 141.
What are your hours? Are you open today?
We're open Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sundays by appointment. We're based at Fresno Yosemite International Airport (KFAT), 4955 East Andersen Ave, Suite 117, Fresno, CA 93727.
Can you recommend a medical examiner (AME) near Fresno?
Yes. We can refer you to FAA-designated Aviation Medical Examiners (AMEs) in the Fresno area for your FAA medical certificate. You can also search for every nearby AME using the FAA's official AME locator at faa.gov.
How much does training cost?
Aircraft rentals start at $149/hr wet in the Piper Tomahawk, with the Piper Archer at $189/hr and our Tecnam P2006T multi-engine trainer at $375/hr wet. Our 0-Solo Fast Pass (zero experience to first solo) starts at $4,995 when you pay by bank/ACH (save 2.9%), or $5,140 by card, and full career-track program pricing is on our Programs and Financing pages — contact us and we'll build you a personalized quote.
